Do I need to season the BBQ?
No, seasoning is not required before your first cook, but we strongly recommend it. Like cast iron cookware, the Ridgy Didge BBQ performs best when seasoned before its first use. Seasoning helps create a durable protective cooking surface, improves cooking performance, and assists in reducing surface rust over time.
How do I season my BBQ?
1. Wash and dry all components.
2. Apply a thin coat of cooking oil.
3. Heat in an oven (230–250°C) for approximately one hour.
4. Repeat the process 2–3 times for the best results.
For detailed step-by-step instructions, please refer to the seasoning guide included with your Ridgy Didge BBQ.

Why has the appearance of my BBQ changed?
